We’re excited to share with you a very special project, working with Glenfiddich to create a bespoke scarf to sell in their Gift Shop!
The Time Traveller’ has the family at its heart. William Grant built his dream with Elisabeth his wife, seven sons and two daughters in 1887. The first drops of whisky which ran from the stills on Christmas Day are represented in the design, by a small Robin. Five Stags for the Five generations of the Grant family who have nurtured both tradition and innovation over the years, and nestling among the maturing casks you’ll find a sleeping fawn representing the future generations and our on-going passion to produce the best dram in the valley.
The Robbie Dhu Spring runs through the design, surrounded by treasured family mementoes such as, Charles Gordon’s pocket watch and the bag he used as he travelled around the world promoting and selling our whisky.
The title for the scarf, ‘The Time Traveller’, came to Helen when visiting the Warehouse – “seeing the casks ‘sleeping’ and maturing in that cool peaceful space, suspended in time, almost enchanted, waiting to be awoken – time passing and life going on around them while the whisky matures .
The Time Traveller is available in two sizes from.the Glenfiddich gift shop at thier distillery in Dufftown, Moray.
